Each of our libraries offers traditional library service - we circulate books, DVDs, book on CD, magazines, and offer reference support.  We offer other services to benefit our communities, as well:

VOX Books are printed children's books that provide full professional audio narration using a unique audio reader attached to the book. Studies have shown that VOX Books users improve their reading comprehension by 75% and improve their reading accuracy by over 50%.

 

Newton County Public Library is pleased to offer VOX books to our youngest patrons!  These books circulate for 3 weeks, and are charged to up to 100 reads.  No other devices are necessary to use these audiobooks, and each one has a port to use earphones.
